CompuTrainer Classes

Nothing beats riding outdoors, but when mother nature makes it impossible to ride outside, you can count on the PowerUp CompuTrainer classes at Velo Pro Studio to give you an excellent workout. The PerfPro Performance Trainer Software has an amazing library of race courses and routes…we can also download your favorite ride from your Garmin device!

Not everyone can afford to buy power taps and software, but research suggests that 1 hour of focused indoor power-based training on a CompuTrainer is more beneficial than 2 hours of riding on the road.  Using the gold standard in indoor training technology, you can regularly train on a computrainer with full analysis of your power every workout, enjoying the misery of others, using a prescribed training plan for the day.

$20.00 each for drop-in classes, or save $20 if you register for an entire session (8 weeks) and pay in advance.  If you register for the entire session, your spot is reserved every night, and you won’t have to remember to sign up each week or worry about full classes!

Retul Bike Fitting (1.5 hours)

Using Retul 3D Motion Capture technology, the Retul system records your positions dynamically while in motion, therefore creating the most realistic picture of the your actual pedal strokes and body positions.

Using eight anatomical LED markers strategically placed on the wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and ball of the foot, the Retul sensor gathers information in real time. A cyclist’s pedaling mechanics can change significantly when applying variable efforts to the pedals, and the Retul system will pick up these differences and allow the fitter to set your position accordingly.
